Pilot Terms of Use

Pilot version · Updated 3 September 2026

These terms apply to the closed Recovery Connect community pilot. The pilot is operated by Recovery Connect Pty Ltd in Australia.

Eligibility and access

You must be at least 18, located in Australia, hold a valid single-use invitation and use your own verified sign-in. Invitations and accounts cannot be transferred. Recovery Connect may pause or close the pilot at any time.

Nature of the service

Recovery Connect provides peer-community technology. It is not a medical, psychological, counselling, treatment, detoxification, legal, emergency or crisis service. It is not continuously monitored. Information shared by members is not professional advice.

Your responsibilities

You must follow the Community Guidelines, protect your sign-in, avoid sharing identifying information and report harmful content. You remain responsible for decisions about treatment, medication and personal safety. Seek qualified professional advice where appropriate.

Moderation and enforcement

Recovery Connect may review, hold, hide or remove content and may restrict or end access when reasonably required for safety, rule enforcement, legal compliance or pilot operation. Reporting a message does not guarantee a particular result. You may request a review by contacting Recovery Connect.

Intellectual property and member content

You retain ownership of the content you submit. You give Recovery Connect a limited licence to host, display, review and process it only as required to operate and protect the pilot. You must not submit content you do not have the right to share.

Changes and contact

Material changes will be communicated in the pilot and may require fresh consent. Questions can be sent to recoveryconnect.org@outlook.com.
